Ghora Katora Lake , The Best place to visit in Rajgrih , BIHAR

This is a natural lake near the city of Rajgrih in the Indian state Bihar. The location is one of the cleanest sightseeing places in Rajgir.
The shape of this lake Resembles a face of a horse that's why the name of this lake is Ghora Katora Lake.

The best season to visit this wonderful place in winter. There is not allowed vehicles to go to ghora Katora Lake. You can only go by Tunga Gadi or by your bicycles. This system has been applied because of environmental concerns.

The way to go to ghora Katora is between two approx. Parallel mountains. A lot of herbs, shrubs, plant trees both sides of the roadway. If you travel with Tanga Gadi instead of vehicles you would be able to take more enjoyment. The greenery and mountains on both sides of the roadway make you feel like you are traveling in laps of nature.

The most attractive sight is of the white and big statue of Lord Buddha in the Lake. The Lake is three sides surrounded by the mountains. There is also a facility of boating in the Lake.

If  you will go to ghora Katora Lake by Bicycles then you would be able to take more enjoyment of nature. There are many parts of the roadway where bicycles will automatically catch up speed up to 40-50 km/hr without pandling , that time you will have adventurous feelings.
