Do you Know About the Death Valley, Faridabad

This is a very nice place to escape from the pollution and Croud of the city. This place is a picturesque view to click pictures and just relax by the lake and the valley is so attractive with natural crystal blue water.

But before visiting this place, please know about this place in depth.

"The Death Valley " is a collection of 7 abandoned mines that are filled with natural crystal blue water in Surajkunj, Faridabad. Being a private property. It has been kept off the radar from the public of the eye. The lakes are the byproduct of many illegal mining operations that occurred here till 1991. Miners dug it to such depth that they touched the groundwater and the area surrounded the mines become natural lakes. Over the years, these lakes have claimed the lives of many visitors, thus everybody called it as " Death Valley ".

The area surrounding the lakes is an arid jungle by the Arawali foothills, also remains largely unexplored. The serenity and solitude that " death Valley " offers are indeed rare and addictive especially in a fast-paced city like Faridabad, Haryana. It also offers the pleasure of seeing some endemic bird species and wildlife animals like deer hyena etc. It is a great place for a short hike with your friends on Sundays.

But as a piece of advice don't get spotted by the local people because they are unfriendly and violent and may ask for money if caught as it is prohibited zone .

Swimming in lakes in now is prohibited, but if you still want to swim into the valley, do so with proper safety precautions. 

" Death Valley " is located within the Asola wildlife sanctuary, a 20- minute walk from the Surajkunj road.
